"The Chicago Bears quarterback situation is the talk of the town right now as football fans look for an escape from the coronavirus pandemic. Will the Bears Week 1 starter be Mitch Trubisky? Will it be Nick Foles? Will Trubisky even get a chance? Has Foles already been told he'll get the job? There's so many questions and possibilities which create some pretty passionate debates. One passionate Bears' fan happens to be the mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, who's been doing daily media tours giving updates on the fight against COVID-19. Last week she called out GM Ryan Pace about the Mike Glennon signing «We paid $18 million to Mike Glennon, which has got to be top five worst all-time … My God, put me out there, will ya?»Now she's pro Nick Foles and calling out Trubisky in her recent appearance on Red Line Radio. "Sorry Mitch Trubisky. I'm excited for Nick Foles. Prove me wrong Mitch."
She also took the opportunity to take a shot at former QB, Jay Cutler's character. "Had great talent, but you see him on the field and he wasn't a leader of the team. Inconsistent."
