"It's a debate that will rage on until the Chicago Bears kickoff for Week 1 of the 2020 season. Will it be Mitch Trubisky or Nick Foles under center when the Chicago Bears season starts? Some believe Trubisky will continue to get the push so general manager Ryan Pace looks good. While others believe it will be Foles as both Pace and head coach Matt Nagy's jobs are on the line. One former NFLer says it will without a doubt be Foles. "You traded for Nick Foles, you paid him all that money, you didn't do that for a quarterback competition. Nick Foles is the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears. He makes the offense better." former NFLer James Jones stated on the NFL Network.
The connections between Foles and the Bears coaching staff has already been made clear. If you add that up with the restructuring of Foles contract, one could presume that Foles is set to start for the Bears next year.
