Matthew Stafford gives huge endorsement to Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams is in his rookie season and this weekend, he and the Chicago Bears will take on Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams.
Once upon a time, Stafford was also a rookie quarterback in the NFL and was looking to find his stride. Recently, he was asked about Williams and his early struggles, as well as his flashes of brilliance. Stafford had an interesting take on all of it, noting that it is going to take time. That said, he also praised Williams for his progress and his potential.
"He's obviously immensely talented. He makes plays every single week that you see on TV that blow you away as a quarterback. I sit there and go, man, that is some incredible stuff. I'm sure there are plays he wants back, like all of us. He seems like a sharp kid, obviously, really talented. I'm sure he'll figure it out more and more as he continues to play. I'm sure he is going to have a great career."
This weekend, the Bears will be looking to improve to 2-2. If they lose, then the season will already be slipping away. However, every game is an opportunity for Williams to grow as a player. Now, he just needs offensive coordinator Shane Waldron to figure it out.
