"Rumours started to boil during December that WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, was heavily contemplating relaunching his failed XFL venture. Back in 2001 McMahon tried to create a football league to compete with the NFL, the experiment failed and only lasted for one season. This time around though, many believe the XFL might actually work with so many people angry how the NFL has handled a bunch of different situations recently. According to PWInsider, the XFL will be built more seriously this time around with the first game only expected to be played at the earliest in 2020 compared to in 2001 when the league started just a couple of months after it was formed. ESPN business reporter, Darren Rovell, Tweeted on Thursday morning that everything is confirmed and McMahon is set to make the announcement at 3PM EST on Thursday. The timing is perfect for McMahon as it's currently the bye week before the Super Bow. Do you think it has any chance at being successful this time around?
