There's no love loss between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. The rivalry plays itself off the field as well between Packers and Bears' fans, now it looks like it'll play itself out in federal court.A Green Bay Packers fan has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that the Bears violated his first and 14th amendment rights. Russell Beckham of Green Bay holds season tickets to both the Packers and the Bears. He claims the Bears violated his rights by not allowing him on the sidelines in Packers gear during a pregame event, he also says it's not the first time it's happened. With the next Packers-Bears matchup fast approaching, Beckham and his legal team filed for a petition to a federal judge for a temporary restraining order so he could wear his Packers gear since his lawsuit isn't near resolution. «I believe the ownership will lose in the courtroom since they operate in a taxpayer-owned stadium and this rule is contrary to the public interests,» Beckman told the Chicago Tribune. «I'm a fan of the NFL. I want the Bears-Packers rivalry to be exciting. I want Packers and Bears games to mean something. If you're a fan of something, you want to claim it.»
Do you think he should be allowed to wear his gear on the sidelines during pregame events?
