"The Chicago Bears are rolling with QB Justin Fields for their final preseason game. This of course means that Andy Dalton will be the starting QB when Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams comes around. Many people would prefer that Fields were the starter from the get go but Nagy has made it clear Dalton is the starter from jump. When pressed by reporters Nagy explained what it would take for him to make the QB switch. "Performance and wins". Fields is close but Nagy is committed to giving Dalton the opening work. It's interesting that Nagy mentions wins because the Bears had a winning record under Mitch Trubisky last year and Nagy made the switch to Nick Foles.
