"The Chicago Bears lost another game that has been followed with some controversy once again. Bears' starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky left last night's game and Chase Daniels took over. During the national broadcast, Chris Collinsworth claimed that we were possibly seeing the official benching of Trubisky and a changing of the guard. However during head coach Matt Nagy's press conference on Monday, Nagy said that was absolutely not true. Nagy was asked about the stories circulating that it wasn't a real injury and just an excuse to bench Trubisky. "I'm aware and some others have told me that, there's a lot of stuff that's going on after the game, this ones so simple there's nothing but pure honesty, all decisions had zero to do with his play and all had to do with his injury"The Bears' head coach was also asked about multiple people saying they didn't see Chase Daniels warm up?"He was warming up, he took snaps from Cody, he was throwing and took snaps and I don't know where that came from."The injury apparently occurred during the end of the first half."He has a right hip pointer. It happened on the sack at the end of the second quarter."
"We knew he had a pain and we had to monitor that the second half, you'll see it in almost every play in the second half."Will Trubisky practice this week and play on Sunday?"We're working through that"
Is Trubisky still the Bears' starting QB?"He's absolutely our starting QB if he's healthy"
Could Mitch benefit mentally and physically from a break?"No, thats not what he wants and not what we want, he wants to keep growing"
