Former Bears OL Inks a Deal with the Baltimore Ravens

Former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Sam Mustipher is charting a new course. The player inked a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens, as confirmed by The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec.

The Bears' offensive line has undergone a significant facelift this offseason under the strategic direction of general manager Ryan Poles. This includes the acquisition of guard Nate Davis and the drafting of tackle Darnell Wright, a top 10 pick, as they gear up for the upcoming season.

The latest news regarding the offensive side of the trenches being Mustipher's departure, he showcased his versatility in the previous season with the Bears, starting 16 games and demonstrating his skills both as a center and occasionally as a guard. Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2019, Mustipher has racked up 40 starts for the Bears over the course of three seasons.

With Mustipher's departure, the reins at the center position for the Bears are set to be handed over to Cody Whitehair.
