Rumours have been flying around about Orlando Brown in the past couple of days. Most believe he has a great chance to be franchise-tagged by the Chiefs. However, his tag would be pretty pricy. The Chiefs have a lot on their plates this off-season.

Just to remind everyone, the new Bears' GM Ryan Poles spent the previous 13 seasons in the Chiefs' front office, the past year as executive director of player personnel under general manager Brett Veach. In addition, Poles is a former offensive lineman himself. He has an amazing relationship with Orlando Brown.

Here is a quote that Brown said on the day the Poles was announced as the Bears' GM: «He's incredible at what he does and he understands the development of offensive linemen, specifically — I know that. Everybody in the building had nothing but positive things to say about him. Very much respected."

When you mix the fact that the Bears are in desperate need of some talent on the offensive line, that Brown might become available soon and that he is already very fond of the general manager, you could be in for something special.

It might be a long shot. However, I think if he were to become a free agent either this off-season or next year, he would be a prime candidate to come to Chicago.

Here is a little clip that shows his power:
