Report: Chicago Bears have Signed Canadian Football Star Theo Benedet

Following the NFL draft this past weekend, the Chicago Bears have signed undrafted free agent Theo Benedet:

Benedet is an offensive lineman who spent his college career playing in Canada for the University of British Columbia.

Though he was born in Toronto, he grew up in British Columbia and decided to stay close to come for his college career.


Benedet finished his college career as a 2-time first-team All-Canadian, awarded with the J. P. Metras Trophy twice, and was the only canadian football player selected to the 2023 East–West Shrine Bowl.
