As reported, the Chicago Bears have invited former USC WR John Jackson III to their mini-camp;
Jackson III spent 5 seasons playing for USC but only spent 1 season playing with new Bears QB Caleb Williams. That was during the 2022 season, when Williams won the Heisman Trophy, was named as the AP College Football Player of the Year, and SN College Football Player of the Year.
Though Jackson III ended his college career playing for Nevada, he still built a strong relationship with Williams, with reports that the two are "best friends."
Jackson III had his best season this past year while at Nevada, where he made a total of 35 catches for 267 yards.
Welcome to Chicago!
