Jeremy Fowler of ESPN has reported that many teams are interested in the services of James Daniels. He has an excellent market and he expects the Bears will let him get paid somewhere else.
Although he hasn't played the best football, he is still very young (24) and is very flexible along the line, having played center and guard. Although I get that Poles doesn't like the roster left behind by Pace, this one would be a headscratcher.
Daniels seems like a player Chicago should try to retain, with all the uncertainty surrounding that offensive line. A young guard as flexible as Daniels does not come available too often. Then again, Poles has shown that he is not afraid to cut players loose and start over.
