Justyn Ross gained national attention as a freshman with the Clemson Tigers. He had 1000yards and 9 touchdowns during that season. He was also a big part of the National Championship win over Alabama, where he put up 153 yards and a score.
Ross hasn't put up the same numbers since and has fallen in the eyes of the scouts. He had problems staying healthy the past 2 years but played through it which shows his heart and love for the game. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney mentioned that they couldn't get Ross to stay on the sidelines. He dealt with a stress fracture in his foot all 2021 and could explain lower performance.
He is now said to have undergone surgery and should be 100% when his name gets called up to the big leagues. He is an interesting prospect with a ton of upside but remains risky with injury concerns. He should still be available deep in the draft for the Bears if they decide to attack the offensive line in the earlier rounds.
