Mike Williams has signed a 3 years contract extension!
We have been banging the table ever since the season ended that the Chicago Bears need a big-time wide receiver. One of the candidates that could have possibly been available was Mike Williams.
Unfortunately for Bears nation, Williams has reportedly signed a three-year, $60 million deal that includes $40 million guaranteed and $28 million in year one.
That is a very high cap hit. However, this is where the NFL is going. Even though this seems to be a lot of money, if you want big-time players, you have to be prepared to pay them big-time money.
Don't worry Bears fans, there is still a lot of great receivers available in either free agency or the draft!
