Aaron Rodgers has signed an extension with the Packers
The Aaron Rodgers off-season show is over. He has finally agreed to terms with the Packers. He has signed a 4-year $200 million deal. This officially makes him the highest-paid player in NFL history.
Although it would have been nice for the Bears for him to leave the NFC north, it just means that Chicago has to get better in order to win the north. This deal is not a team-friendly deal at all. With the Packers already in cap hell, they will have to let go of some players. I would add that, for all the praises Rodgers receives on the field, he has not won a lot of playoffs games lately. In fact, he has not had a lot of big wins since the super bowl 11 years ago. This also means that the Jordan Love experience is most likely over. Green Bay traded up to get Love in the first round 2 years ago. Let's just say that this was not the best move ever...
