GM Ryan Poles is being proven right about this player.
James Daniels was one of the biggest free agent players that the Bears decided to let go this off-season. With Chicago having multiple needs on the offensive line, the move to not resign him was a very unpopular one. Indeed, Ryan Poles received a lot of criticism.
However, with many reports from Pittsburgh that Daniels has straight up been bad in camp and in the preseason, Poles' decision seems like a better one now.
Daniels signed a very sizeable 3-year, $26,500,000 contract with the Steelers this summer. For this amount of money, I'm glad the Bears passed on him.
