David Montgomery praises OL Teven Jenkins
It has not been the smoothest of offseasons for Bears' offensive lineman Teven Jenkins. Indeed, he was involved in many trade rumors after missing over a full week of practices due to an undisclosed injury at the start of camp.
However, it now looks like the worst is behind us since Jenkins seems to be back in the starting lineup, but as a right guard now. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the way he has played so far at his new position.
Bears RB David Montgomery was also pleased to see his teammate back in front of him. Check out this report from Chris Emma.
We have hears some reports in the past few days that a few people in the media still expect Jenkins to be traded by the Bears. But, barring a huge offer that Ryan Poles could not refuse, it's hard to imagine Chicago dealing away a starting piece of their offensive line, especially since he is still only 24 years old and in the second year of his rookie deal.
