49ers veteran Tashaun Gipson has been suspended for 6 games this season for using PED last season.
Gipson released a statement taking full responsibility for using a substance that had PEDs in it. The veteran added that it was a mistake but he knows he should have paid more attention and is excited to start his 13th NFL season.
"The NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances is clear, and I take full responsibility for anything I put into my body. It is with great disappointment that I accept this suspension, and I do so knowing that I have never even attempted to cheat the game. I look forward to returning for my 13th NFL season and helping a team compete for a championship."
Fans will never know if Gipson took the substance knowing it had PEDs in it but he will serve his 6 game suspension then will be able to re-join his team for week 7.
