Bears had a great off-season but made one crucial mistake

The Bears did a great job in the off-season acquiring a lot of big pieces such as Kenan Allen and 1st overall pick Caleb Williams.

While they have filled many holes, one area they have yet to fill out that could cost them greatly is the back up QB position.

The Bears have yet to sign a back up for the season and while they hope there will be no need for one if Williams is able to stay healthy and exceed expectations but it is better to be safe than sorry.

The Bears do have Tyson Bagent and Brett Rypien under contract but Williams ends up going down, neither of these players would be able to get the Bears into the playoffs regardless of who surrounds them.
