The Jets have Released Former Bears QB After Starting in 2 Games this Season

Boyle was named as the Jets starter after Zach Wilson lead the Jets to a blowout loss against the Bills. In his 2 starts, Boyle went 0-2, so clearly they have a serious QB issue.

After this release, the Jets signed QB Brett Rypien off of the Seahawks practice squad.

As Wilson was reported to be "reluctant" to return as the starter, it looks like the Jets are aiming to name one of their other QBs as the starter, unless Wilson agrees to return.
