Did we just get confirmation that Baker Mayfield is getting traded to Seattle?

After trading Russell Wilson, the Seahawks have Geno Smith and Drew Lock at quarterback. They have been connected to Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is on his way out after Cleveland traded for Deshaun Watson.

There is supposedly mutual interest between Mayfield and the Seahawks. Seattle would reportedly be willing to give him a contract extension.

Even though Watson's status for the 2022-23 season remains very much in doubt, it will most probably not be Mayfield who takes his place as the team's starter for the duration of Watson's pending suspension.

The breaking news is that the Seattle Seahawks may have just leaked some news as many fans saw the Seahawks attempting to sell Mayfield jersey's on their team website:



It was also reported last week that Seattle was still very interested in Mayfield, leaving them as pretty much the only team that is still in the run for Baker.
