Caleb Williams Reveals Why He wants Bears to Draft his Former Teammate

With the draft approaching tonight, everyone is gearing up to welcome QB Caleb Williams - but are also eagerly waiting to see who will join him as his new teammate.
When asked about which name he wants to hear be called as the 9th pick, Williams revealed that he hopes his former high school teammate OT Olu Fashanu is chosen by the Bears.

As heard, Williams said:
"I'd probably go Olu Fashanu because I know he'd put his life on the line for me"
Williams and Fashanu were teammates back in highschool, and Williams knows that he will always have his back. As someone who will be blocking for you and protecting you, it's good to have a lot of trust in them.
Williams certainly has a ton of trust in Fashanu and knows that he will do whatever he can to protect Williams.
