It's a bright future for these Chicago teams! After both Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze were selected by the Bears in the 2024 draft, Chicago's hockey star Blackhawks' Connor Bedard shared a kind welcome:

Bedard was the drafted by the Blackhawks as their 1st overall pick in the 2023 NHL draft. Now, another 1st overall pick is joining Chicago sports' as Williams was the Bears' 1st overall pick.

Bedard had a phenomenal rookie season, so if Williams can have a similar rookie year then the Bears are in good hands.
