Throwback to when Cole Kmet told us Justin Fields would be ready for those circumstances
The Bears had to play in one of the worst games, condition-wise you could imagine. The amount of rain that was poured on Soldier Field on Gameday was mind-boggling. However, earlier this off-season, TE Cole Kmet spoke about the fact that QB Justin Fields was preparing for any kind of circumstances possible. Well, it looked like it paid dividends on Sunday because Fields was very solid, with all things considered.
One thing that all great quarterbacks in the history of the league have is the ability to perform at a high level, under bad circumstances.
One of those bad circumstances is oftentimes the wind. If you ask any QBs in football, they would they you that playing in windy conditions is actually way harder than either rain or snow.
