Pro Bowl RB believes the running back position is dying
In the NFL, running is the past. Passing is the future. With completion percentages across the NFL continuing to rise at a very high level, your average handoff seemed destined for failure, nestled in between the mid-range jumper in the NBA and the sacrifice bunt in the MLB. Yet, while their contracts have suffered, running backs are still an important part of football.
We have seen in the past decade a shift towards running. backs who can catch the football and even play like a wide receiver at times.
Well, here is Broncos RB Melvin Gordon opening-up on the subject of the running back position "dying".
