The MAC Defensive Player of the Year visited the Bears today!
Jacob Infante reported that the Bears have met with Western Michigan EDGE Ali Fayad.
Fayad was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 pilling up 12 sacks and 17.5 tackles for a loss as well.
Fayad is a very intriguing prospect coming out of Western Michigan. He is such a great athlete that it makes his ceiling as a player very high. He is still a pretty raw pass rusher that has a lot of room left for improvement.
While his pass-rushing moves are not extremely diverse, he has mastered a few of them that allowed him to be such a productive player in his collegial career. I think he could have a very bright future in the big leagues and he will benefit from NFL coaching a ton!
