Big day inside Hallas Hall today!
Today is a big day in the off-season program for the Chicago Bears. In fact, the Bears have a three-day voluntary minicamp that starts today at Halas Hall.
It will be interesting to see which player attends the minicamp. Hopefully, a great majority of the guys are there in-person today! Some fans might think that these camps are useless. However, this could not be farther from the truth. They have a great impact on the preparation for next season, especially when you have a new coaching staff. Every occasion each player has to get acclimated to their new playbooks and coaches is key.
Another aspect that is underrated during those voluntary minicamps is the team-bonding part. The NFL rosters are changing so much from year to year so these camps are a great occasion for the player to meet their new teammates, their new brothers!
