The Bears have waived a defensive end
The deadline for the first wave of roster cuts for every team in the NFL (90 to 85) is 4 ET on Tuesday.
He initially signed with the Bears this offseason as an undrafted rookie free agent from Northern Arizona University.
With that being said, the Bears just waived DL Carson Taylor and will have to cut 4 more players by tomorrow afternoon.
Taylor played pretty nicely during some parts of the offseason and he impressed a lot of people. However, it certainly doesn't help that he already faced an uphill battle for a roster spot considering the defensive end group is a loaded one with Robert Quinn, Trevis Gipson, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Mario Edwards and Dominique Robinson.
He also has a relatively quiet game versus the Chiefs, where he played 12 defensive snaps and 6 special teams snaps. He failed to put his name on the stat sheet.
