The Bears have released 5 players...

Today was the limit for the bears to bring down the roster to 8 players. This meant that 5 players needed to be released. Well, Chris Emma reported that The Bears have cut their roster to the 80-man limit by releasing tackle Julien Davenport, receiver Dazz Newsome, fullback Jake Bargas, defensive tackle LaCale London, and cornerback BoPete Keyes.

I have to admit that besides Newsome who we already covered earlier this morning, there are no big surprises. I think that all of these players were not expected to make the final roster.

Keep in mind that in one week, the roster will have to be narrowed down from 80 players to 53 players!
