The Bears announced the release of Eddie Goldman
The Bears have been trying to find a trade partner for Eddie Goldman. However, they have not been able to do so. They now announced via their Twitter page that Goldman has been released officially as of today.
He was selected by the Bears in the 2nd round of the 2015 draft. Goldman appeared in 81 games with 73 starts over six seasons in Chicago. He had some good moments, but ever since he opted out of the 2020 season, he was not the same player. It is a shame to see him go, but it was the right move.
