With the NFL Draft just two days away, Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace held his annual pre-draft press conference on Tuesday. The Bears are sitting pretty comfortably with the #8 pick in the first round and Pace said the team has done its homework and is ready for the draft. Pace noted the team has exactly eight players highlighted that they'd like to take at with the #8 pick, the Bears GM also confirmed that any report the Bears are looking to draft a QB is completely "inaccurate".Pace also said he's open to trading down or trading up if there's a player slipping they want to grab "We're not afraid to be aggressive if we've got to be aggressive to get a player we're excited about."While the Bears probably won't take a wide receiver with their first round pick, they'll be more than prepared to take one later on. Pace mentioned that new head coach Matt Nagy has gone through every single receiver available in the draft. One player the Bears definitely seem to be high on is Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds who Pace said can do a "a little bit of everything". It'll definitely be interesting to see who the Bears pick at #8, while the mocks have the Bears likely going after Quenton Nelson, it seems the Bears are pretty high on Edmunds.
