The Chicago Bears will be one of the few teams not focused on the QB mayhem at this year's NFL Draft. While all eyes will be focused on young QB's Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen, the Bears should have some good choices still left on the board. The latest to release a mock draft is Sports Illustrated's Peter King, who like many others have the Bears going after a specific guard. King listed Notre Dame's Quenton Nelson as the Bears likely target at #8. From the article:"If this doesn't happen, every mock drafter in America will be proven to be the frauds we all are. I mean, usually there's some universal agreement on something at the top of the draft. This year, it's universal agreement on the man Notre Dame line-coach-turned-new-Bears line coach Harry Hiestand coached in his college career, Nelson. And it fits what new coach Matt Nagy wants—a mauler who will help Nagy build the run game and protective front wall to give Mitchell Trubisky the space and time he needs in up-the-middle protection. Smart pick."
The connection with Harry Hiestand makes sense, would you like to see the Bears draft Nelson at #8?
