Rumour: Sources Indicate that the Bears have Interest in the Former 1st-Rounder DE Derek Barnett
After it was announced that Eagles DE Derek Barnett wants to be traded from the Eagles, podcast host who goes by the name Austin F claimed that a source revealed to him that the Bears are interested in Barnett:

However, if this is true, then this would be a an excellent idea.
Since Bears DE Trevis Gipson reveald that he wanted to be traded, fans have been wondering who his replacement would be. Now, with Barnett on the market, he would be the perfect player to trade for in exchange of Gipson.
Barnett is no superstar, but he knows how to make crucial plays. He is a reliable pass rusher who stays consistent with his performances.
Barnett is also a Super Bowl champ, so we know he knows what it's like to win. He will bring in that mentality to the Bears.
I see this trade working out for the Bears, so if they are truly interested, they better make a move quick.
