Roster Cuts: Bears have Revealed that they are Releasing Wide Receiver/Return Specialist Nsimba Webster

As revealed by Bears insider Brad Biggs, the Bears are planning on releasing wide receiver/return specialist Nsimba Webster:

Webster signed with the Rams in 2019 after going undrafted. He stayed with the team until being waived before the 2021 season.

Webster was then claimed by the 49ers shortly after, but was then waived by the team about a month later.

The Bears then claimed Webster off the waivers the very next day. He was then on and off with the team for the past 2 years, but now, he is being waived once again.

Due to the Bears track record in the past, it is likely that Webster will be back with the team, but only as a practice squad member.
