Patrick Mahomes Sr. recently plead guilty to driving while intoxicated and because this was his third offense, he was facing 10 years in prison.
However, he got off easy as his sentence has been officially revealed. Essentially, he will get one year of heavily supervised probation, followed by four years of regular probation. So five years of probation in total.
This will be a huge relief to the Mahomes family, especially Patrick, who is about to embark on a huge season with the Chiefs. He and KC are looking to win their third Super Bowl in a row.
