Multiple Bears writers and analyst pushing for the Bears to trade Quinn
The Bears opened a three-day mandatory minicamp Tuesday without their top pass rusher present even after coach Matt Eberflus had expressed the opinion Quinn would show up for the required practices.
We have been hearing for a while now that Quinn could be looking to play on a different squad this season. One CBS reporter even said that he specifically heard Quinn say that he wanted out of Chicago. Trading Robert Quinn right now would save the Bears $12.8 million this year.
At this point, I think this would be the smart move. While it would hurt to see Quinn on another team, it would be a necessary move, in my mind.
