While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven't officially declared that star Wide Receiver Mike Evans is on the trading block, the rumor mill is already buzzing with interest from around the league. CBS Sports reports that should Evans become available, four teams stand ready to make their bids: the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New England Patriots, and the Detroit Lions.

Each of these potential suitors presents an interesting fit for Evans. Dallas is perennially seeking to bolster the talent surrounding Quarterback Dak Prescott, aiming to elevate their championship aspirations. Meanwhile, the Giants see themselves on the cusp of a divisional title and, subsequently, a Super Bowl run. Over in New England, the Patriots are in dire need of offensive firepower to support their young quarterback, Mac Jones. Detroit, though considered underdogs, have a promising offensive setup and could use a big-play, #1 receiver like Evans to potentially kickstart a breakout year.

As the NFL regular season kicks off this Thursday, the Buccaneers have yet to clarify their intentions regarding Evans' future with the team. Nevertheless, given the brewing interest, it's becoming increasingly probable that Evans may not be part of their long-term plans. If he does depart, he would likely bring his considerable talents to a team with genuine championship ambitions.
