The Cleveland Browns have announced that they have signed former Bears receiver Javon Wims.
Wims was a product of the University of Georgia and was a seventh-round pick by the Bears. In 33 career games in Chicago (7 starts), he caught 28 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns from 2018 to 2020. He was cut from the Bears during the final cuts before the 2021 season. He then spent the season on the Raiders' practice squad.
For most people around the league, Wims will be remembered for his punches thrown at Saints Db CJ Gardner Johnson.
