The Chicago Bears announced yesterday on Twitter that David Moore has signed a one-year deal. Moore was participating in this week's voluntary minicamp on a tryout basis.
Moore was eating lunch in the Halas Hall cafeteria when he was informed that the Bears wanted to sign him after practice.
He later said: "It's just a blessing," "I've been at the house just hoping, waiting on a call, just an opportunity to get a chance to play football. The week was going great and I had high hopes, and then after practice they told me to wait around, that they were going to sign me."
Over the next few weeks, Moore wants to show the Bears' staff "how much I love the game and how excited I am to play for this team."
With that kind of enthusiasm, we are excited to see what Moore can bring to the Bears!
He has appeared in 50 NFL career games with only 14 starts through 5 seasons. He has played for the Seahawks (2017-20), Broncos (2021), and Packers (2021).
