The Chicago Bears announced yesterday that they have signed Greg Stroman Jr. to a one-year deal.
"I'm just excited and pumped, ready to go to work," he said. "It's an opportunity and I'm looking forward to taking advantage of it."
He also wants to show the Bears' coaches "that I'm hungry and ready and willing to put in the work to contribute to the team in any way."
Stroman says he hopes to make the most of his chance to earn a job with the Bears.
Stroman is a cornerback who has appeared in 20 NFL games only starting 3 of them for Washington. He was a seventh-round pick back in 2018. During his rookie season, Stroman played in 15 games and recorded 38 tackles, one interception, four pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Stroman was then limited Stroman to only one game in 2019 and four in 2020. In 2021, he spent part of the year on the Bills' and Rams' practice squads. Let's see what he can do in Chicago.
