Former Bears All-Pro Reacts to Luke Getsy's Possible New Hiring as an Offensive Coordinator
All season long, Bears fans have been begging the team to fire OC Luke Getsy. To no surprise, the Bears did fire him after the regular season concluded, and have now hired their replacement, former Seahawks OC Shane Waldron.
Though it seemed like Getsy's career was coming to an end after these 2 mediocre seasons, it looks like he might be getting another chance.
As reported earlier today, the Raiders are planning on interviewing Getsy for their open OC position:
This came as a surprise to many, especially Bears fans, and even former players.
After this news was announced, former Bears All-Pro Olin Kreutz took to Twitter to share his thoughts and a poses a question:
As seen in the tweet, Kreutz says:
"Question i never thought of ... what if Getsy goes somewhere else and kills it?"
It would definitely be a shock to see Getsy create a successful offense with another team, but I guess it's not impossible?
