BREAKING: It's Official, Bears have HIRED 2-time Super Bowl Champ as their New Offensive Coordinator
After insiders reported that the Bears were near a deal with Seahawks OC Shane Waldron, fans have been waiting for the "official" report. That time has finally come, as the Bears have welcomed Waldron to Chicago:
Waldron is best known for his time in Seattle, as he spent the last 3 seasons serving as the Seahawks offensive coordinator.
During those years, Waldron helped create an exciting offense, and was even able to help shape QB Geno Smith into a Pro Bowler.
Waldron is known for working well with QBs, even if they have had a sloppy career prior. He is a respectable OC around the NFL, and the Bears should be pleased with this hire.
Welcome to Chicago!
