NBC's Mike Florio Believes O.J. Simpson Was Guilty of Double Murder

NBC reporter Mike Florio is convinced of O.J. Simpson's guilt in the murder of his ex-wife and her friend. Simpson, a former NFL star, died on April 10 at 76 after a long battle with prostate cancer, reigniting debates over his innocence.

Simpson was acquitted in 1995 for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, despite being later found liable in a 1997 civil trial. Florio, after revisiting the ESPN documentary 'O.J.: Made In America', asserts that the evidence, especially the Bruno Magli shoes that matched a print at the crime scene, conclusively points to Simpson's guilt.

According to Florio, these shoes are the "smokiest of the smoking guns," as detailed in his article on ProFootballTalk.com. He criticizes the prosecution's handling of the criminal case, noting they lacked a sworn denial from Simpson about wearing the shoes and a photo of him in them—both of which were presented in the civil trial.

Simpson maintained he never owned the shoes, though evidence, including photos, contradicted his claim. Florio stresses that while Simpson's death is a loss for his family, it is essential not to forget his victims, who did not get to live full lives.

Simpson was cremated last Wednesday, and his attorney confirmed that Simpson made no confessions regarding the murders in his final days.
