As just reported, the Jets have revealed that they will be trading away their former 2nd-overall pick Zach Wilson to the Broncos in exchange for a 6th and 7th-round pick:

Wilson was drafted by the Jets back in the 2021 NFL draft. Though Wilson was expected to become a star and the Jets' franchise QB, he has only shown disappointment.

In his first 2 seasons, Wilson was benched several times and displayed poor leadership skills. The Jets then brought in his replacement last offseason after signing NFL legend Aaron Rodgers.

However, Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of last season, so Wilson was once again the starter. Many thought this was his chance to prove himself, but, this actually gave the Jets more clarity on the kind of player he is.

Now, after 3 seasons with the Jets, Wilson is leaving New York and will be fighting for a roster spot in Denver.
