Darnell Mooney extremely critical of Matt Nagy's staff
Matt Nagy's tenure in Chicago started well. However, it turned out really bad fast. Pretty much everyone in Chicago was calling for him to be fired after the 2021 season. It was pretty clear that he had lost the locker room. In November, there was a report made by NFL Insider Jordan Schultz that said, "an overwhelming number of Bears players" wanted the team to part ways with Nagy.
Well, yesterday, it was WR Darnell Mooney's turn to be critical of last year coaching staff.
During Darnell Mooney's recent visit on the Red Line Radio podcast, Chicago's top returning receiver was discussing the locker room energy
«You could definitely feel the energy a lot of guys just having that let's just get this over with, it's getting brutal out here, just continuing losing,'» Mooney said. «It's definitely hard to have the mindset going into next week, My God, we just keep losing."
