It's the storyline that doens't seem to be going away until something gets done one way or another. Allen Robinson and his contract will either end with an extension or a trade as it doesn't seem likely he'll be interested in signing a franchise tag next year. Just when things seemed like they were taking a turn for the worse, thanks to his teammates starting a campaign to re-sign the wide receiver it looks like we might get some news. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Bears and Robinson have resumed contract talks after a very tense week. Robinson has led the Bears in receiving in each of the last two years and is coming off a career high year where he registered 1147 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
