The Chicago Bears made 2015 first round pick Kevin White inactive during the team's Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. It was an interesting decision considering that both WR Allen Robinson and TE Ben Braunecker were also inactive. Bears WR coach Mike Furrey commented on White and made some interesting statements. «He's been great,» Furrey said. «He had a great week — and [the receivers] all have. They're all out there working.»
Furrey added that it was head coach Matt Nagy's decision to make White inactive and added that Nagy spoke with White to explain the decision. White has hardly gotten any snaps during the final year of his rookie contract but Furrey says he's making sure White stays positive. «Just continue to do what he's doing,» he said. «I'm really pleased where he's at. I think he would say that, too, with the fact he can go out and run around. He feels good. He feels healthy. He understands what we're doing.»
