Bears fans rejoice after watching Allen Robinson on opening night.
If you drafted Allen Robinson to be a difference-maker for your fantasy team, you were thoroughly disappointed Thursday night. He had a remarkably quiet night in Los Angeles' Week 1 opener against the Bills, and his lack of an impact helped contribute to the club's 31-10 embarrassing loss.
Robinson, who signed a three-year, $46.5 million contract this offseason, caught one pass for 12 yards on two targets. However, he did play the majority of the game and ran 47 routes, but Matthew Stafford simply never went in his direction.
I know we should not overreact to one game, but it did look a lot like last season for Robinson. It was very clear and obvious that Robinson was simply not the same player in 2021. While he was never the fastest receiver, he struggled so much getting separation for the Bears last year.
Well, it was the same case yesterday. I know that the Bills have a great defense, but you would still expect more from a player with a $46.5 million contract!
Looks like the Bears are being proven right by letting go of Arob for now!
