Bears writer Jacon Infante tweeted out that he believes the Bears won't have many Pro Bowler this season. It's hard to argue with that. Last season, the only players that made the Pro Bowler for the Bears were Edge Robert Quinn and KR/PR Jakeem Grant.

How many Pro Bowlers will the #Bears have this year?

I'm going to say Roquan Smith is the only one, but Teven Jenkins and Jaylon Johnson are two really intriguing dark-horse choices. -Jacob Infante

I think Roquan is the obvious choice. He was snubbed last year but he still showed that he was one of the league's premier inside linebackers and he is only going to get better at his age (25).

Smith has emerged as the Bears' best player and he's coming off another impressive outing in 2021. Last season, Smith totalled 163 tackles (4th in NFL), 12 tackles-for-loss (4th among linebackers), 27 pass tackle stops (1st), had a 3.6 missed tackle percentage (2nd) and a 76.8 passer rating allowed (7th for LBs).

I like Infante's take on both Jaylon Johson and Teven Jenkins as well. I believe that both these guys could be poised for a breakout type of season. Jenkins was slowed down due to injury but he has all the potential in the world. As for Johnson, we know how good he is. With the additional help in the secondary surrounding him and the addition of a solid, defensive-minded head coach in Matt Eberlus, he could be in line for a MONSTER season as the CB1.

I think Robert Quinn will also have a shot at another Pro-Bowl selection since he was virtually unblockable last season.
