The Bears seem to have gotten the steal of the draft

The Bears traded a future 4th rounder for a 5th rounder this year and picked Austin Booker who may end up being the steal of the draft.

Booker was supposed to go in the 3rd round according to mock draft but fell in the ranking for some reason.

The young edge rusher only started 1 season for the Jayhawks but managed to get 8 sacks and 12 tackles in that time. His college coach spoke very highly of him to NFL front offices stating he has a great work ethic and is very tough which is why the Bears went out of their way to get him.

The Bears will likely need some time to develop him but they may have a steal on their hands if he ends up being as great as people say.
